Cafeteria Catholic Biden Disagrees with Pope’s Gender Stance

Is Biden really a devout Catholic? He does not stand behind the Pope on many issues, the latest being the Pope's critique of gender ideology.

In a recent bold and necessary reaffirmation of timeless truths, the Pope issued a clarion call against the tidal wave of gender ideology that threatens to erode the very fabric of our society. This 20-page manifesto courageously declares that a person’s gender is not a matter of personal preference but a divine gift from God, unalterably woven into the fabric of His creation. This stance taken by the Church casts a long shadow over the Biden administration’s claim that Biden is a “devout Catholic” while also relentlessly pursuing policies that disrespect these eternal truths.

The Vatican’s document, a beacon of clarity in our muddled times, boldly states that the contemporary push towards gender fluidity and the normalization of “gender-affirming” surgeries are nothing less than a direct affront to human dignity and the divine order. It correctly identifies the aggressive promotion of gender ideology as an “ideological colonization” that poses grave dangers to both individuals and the societal institution of the family. By declaring that to deny the God-given nature of our gender is akin to challenging God Himself, the Church articulates a profound truth that resonates deeply within the hearts of the faithful.

Yet, in stark contrast, the response from the White House to this declaration is as predictable as it is disheartening. The Biden administration, rather than reflecting on the profound ethical and moral implications outlined by the Vatican, chose instead to cherry-pick aspects of the document that align with its own progressive agenda. In doing so, it continues to advocate for policies that undermine the biological and spiritual realities of human nature, all while masquerading under the guise of inclusivity and protection.

This dissonance between the Biden administration’s stance and the Vatican’s timeless teachings further exacerbates the confusion and moral ambiguity plaguing our nation. It is especially ironic, and indeed troubling, for President Biden to assert his identity as a “devout Catholic” while openly endorsing policies that are diametrically opposed to the core tenets of the Catholic faith. This hypocrisy not only undermines the President’s credibility but also raises serious questions about the integrity of his claim to uphold Catholic values.

Moreover, the administration’s insistence on celebrating Transgender Day on Easter Sunday is a profound insult not only to Catholics but to all Christians who revere this most holy day as a celebration of Christ’s resurrection and victory over death. This act is emblematic of a broader pattern of disrespect towards Christian values and traditions, casting serious doubt on the President’s commitment to his purported faith.

In light of these developments, it is incumbent upon us, as Christians, to stand firm in our convictions and to resist the tide of secularism and moral relativism that seeks to redefine the very essence of what it means to be human. We must champion the cause of truth, defending the sanctity of life and the divine order inscribed in creation, against the onslaught of ideologies that threaten to undermine our faith and erode the moral foundations of our society.
