Detransitioner Calls Out Disney on Their Woke Policies

Detransitioner Chloe Cole is standing up to Disney and their woke policies that push irreversible and destructive gender affirming care.

Disney finds itself at the center of a storm, one of its own making. The company, once cherished as a bastion of family entertainment, has veered sharply into territory that not only undermines its foundational values but poses serious ethical and legal questions. Chloe Cole, a victim of the harrowing effects of “gender-affirming care,” bravely stepped forward to hold Disney accountable for its endorsement of procedures that have left her and many others physically and emotionally scarred.

Disney’s alliance with the radical fringes of the LGBT movement, evidenced by its perfect scores from the Human Rights Campaign, is a full-on sprint into the embrace of a destructive and radical ideology. The company’s advocacy goes beyond mere corporate virtue signaling; it actively supports and funds procedures that irreversibly alter the lives of employees and their families under the guise of “gender affirmation.” This support flies in the face of growing evidence and expert opinion warning of the dire consequences and lack of informed consent associated with such interventions.

What we’re witnessing is a deliberate push towards practices that are at odds with basic biological realities and common sense. Disney’s stance is a betrayal of the trust parents across America have placed in it for generations. Instead of being a source of wholesome entertainment, Disney has chosen to become a promoter of a radical agenda that prioritizes political correctness over the well-being of individuals, especially minors who are most vulnerable to these ideologies.

The legal ramifications of Disney’s actions are just beginning to unfold. As Cole pointedly warns, the lawsuits are indeed coming. The company’s refusal to acknowledge the legitimacy of detransitioning care as part of its benefits package highlights a glaring double standard and potential discrimination. Cole’s story shines a stark light on the often-ignored realities of gender transition procedures—the irreversible damage, the lifelong regrets. By voicing her experience, Cole isn’t just seeking justice for herself; she’s sounding an alarm for others who might be on the precipice of making similar irreversible decisions.

Her fight underscores the importance of providing a balanced perspective, especially when it involves life-altering medical interventions on young people. It’s a stark reminder that companies, especially those as influential as Disney, need to consider the full spectrum of human experience in their policies, not just the ones that align with the latest social trends.

Disney’s transformation from a purveyor of dreams into a corporate entity that endorses and funds irreversible and life-altering procedures is nothing short of tragic. It’s a reminder of the lengths to which some will go to appease the most radical subsets of society, sacrificing the well-being of individuals in the process. Disney’s legacy is at stake, but more importantly, so are the lives of countless individuals who deserve better than to be pawns in a corporate game of identity politics.
