Are Men and Women Different? Biden Admin Refuses to Answer

The Biden administration pushes destructive gender ideology again, this time refusing to answer if men and women differ biologically.

At a recent House Appropriations Committee hearing, we witnessed a stark display of evasion from the Biden administration, specifically from Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. The topic on the table? The undeniable physical differences between men and women, a concept so basic yet seemingly unfathomable for the current administration to acknowledge. This line of questioning wasn’t arbitrary; it was a direct nod to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ commendable decision to restrict women’s sports to biological females, standing as a beacon of common sense in an era of bewildering policies.

Maryland’s own Rep. Andy Harris didn’t beat around the bush. He pointedly asked Cardona if he recognized the necessity of Title IX for the very establishment of women’s sports, given the clear physical disparities between the sexes. Yet, Cardona squirmed, dodging a direct answer, a dance more suited to a political circus than a congressional hearing.

As female athletes find themselves in legal battles against the National Collegiate Athletics Association’s policy that blurs these biological lines, Cardona’s reluctance to address the core issue is telling. His department is knee-deep in brewing Title IX regulations poised to further muddle the distinction between male and female athletes, sacrificing fairness on the altar of inclusivity gone awry.

Rep. Harris’s frustration was palpable as he pressed on, seeking a straightforward acknowledgment of biological differences, a query that Cardona met with more evasion. “This is a simple question for an educator,” Harris rightly pointed out, yet the Secretary chose silence over clarity.

This episode is more than just a missed opportunity for an honest discussion. It’s a glaring example of the Biden administration‘s detachment from reality, where ideological agendas take precedence over biological truths and the integrity of women’s sports. The refusal to acknowledge basic scientific facts not only undermines the purpose of Title IX but also dismisses the hard-won battles for female athletes’ rights. It’s high time we call out this farce and demand leadership that respects truth, fairness, and the genuine advancement of women’s sports.

This scenario isn’t merely a bureaucratic misstep; it’s emblematic of a deeper rot within the Biden administration, a willful blindness to the incontrovertible differences between the sexes for the sake of political expediency. In their quest to appease certain voices, they trample on the very essence of competitive integrity and scientific fact. This isn’t progress; it’s regression disguised as policy. As Americans, we must demand more than empty rhetoric—we need policies that safeguard the achievements and future of women’s sports, grounded in reality and respect for the truth.
