Woke Believe Hollywood Is Vital for Biden’s Re-election

While Biden relies on celebrity endorsements, the American people no longer resonate or trust the opinions of the Hollywood elite.

Multiple mainstream news organizations have declared Hollywood celebrities as the linchpin in President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. This revelation surfaced around a glitzy fundraiser in California, where luminaries like George Clooney and Julia Roberts were spectators to an evening that seemed more a spectacle of confusion than a strategic campaign move. Amidst the opulence, Biden appeared perplexed, with Obama having to lead him off the stage.

Such gatherings with the Hollywood elite are supposedly Biden’s “secret weapon” against Donald Trump. This narrative stretches credulity to its breaking point. Are the American voters expected to be swayed by the political musings of the entertainment elite, who shell out up to $500,000 for a seat at these extravaganzas? The notion reeks of disconnect from the everyday struggles and opinions of the average American.

Meanwhile, away from the glitz of Hollywood, the Trump campaign reportedly amassed over $400 million in a single week, a figure that starkly highlights where grassroots support lies. It’s not with the Hollywood elites, but with the ordinary people. Biden’s tone-deaf approach of relying on celebrity endorsements to resonate with the average American is clearly not working, especially when contrasted with the financial backing Trump received after his guilty verdict.

This whole scenario might leave one wondering: since when did the path to the White House run through a Hollywood soundstage? It’s a scenario that alienates rather than unites, creating a bubble where the echo of applause comes from those too far removed from the realities faced by most Americans.

The reliance on celebrities as a “secret weapon” is not just out of touch—it’s a strategic misfire that underestimates the intelligence and concerns of American voters. It’s high time political campaigns realigned with the values and needs of the electorate, rather than the whims of the rich and famous. The real question is, when will this Hollywood façade crumble to reveal a campaign that addresses real issues affecting real Americans?
