Trump’s confidence in Homan is evident. He remarked, “Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin.” This move is set to ignite a firestorm of action to tackle illegal immigration head-on, reinforcing Trump’s campaign promises to secure America’s borders.
In one of his recent interviews on “60 Minutes,” Homan straightforwardly addressed the financial aspects of deportation, asking rhetorically, “What price do you put on national security?” His stance resonates well with conservative audiences, especially when he provocatively warned at the Republican National Convention, “to all the illegal aliens in violation of federal law … you better start packing now.”
The anticipation of Homan stepping in as our border czar under a Trump administration is a sharp turn from the dismal performance of Kamala Harris in the same role under Biden. The American people are infused with hope for a future where Latin American gangs no longer overrun our apartment complexes, drain our taxpayer-funded resources, traffic deadly drugs across our border, or assault and kill our citizens.
This role is no small responsibility, and Homan’s appointment is resonating positively throughout the conservative community. With Trump’s appointment and Homan’s proven track record, we are poised to see effective action. But there’s no time to waste. If we’re serious about securing a robust border, Homan and Trump need to hit the ground running. Immediate action is crucial to achieve the security the American people are demanding.
