Trump Comments on Mysterious Drones: ‘Biden Knows What’s Happening’

The drone debacle is a perfect metaphor for the disillusionment felt by many Americans under Biden: powerless, neglected, and deceived.

President-elect Donald Trump has called out the Biden administration for its opaque handling of the recent drone sightings over the Northeast, casting a glaring spotlight on what he describes as a lack of transparency that’s leaving Americans in the dark. Speaking from Mar-a-Lago, Trump didn’t mince words: “The government knows what is happening. Our military, they know where these drones launched from. If it’s someone’s garage, they could pinpoint it exactly. They know where it came from and where it went, and yet, they remain silent.”

Trump’s comments strike at the heart of a growing frustration among Americans who are tired of being kept out of the loop. “And for some reason, they don’t want to comment,” Trump added, pushing the point that the administration would rather shroud the truth in mystery than be upfront with the very people it serves. “I think they’d be better off just saying what it is. Our military knows, the president knows, yet they choose to keep people in suspense. Why the secrecy?”

While Trump refrained from disclosing whether he had received an intelligence briefing on the matter, he strongly suggested that the lack of a forceful response was indicative that these were not actions of a foreign adversary.

Biden administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, maintain there’s no evidence of foreign involvement. Mayorkas attempted to reassure the public on ABC’s “This Week,” stating, “There’s no question that people are seeing drones. And I want to assure the American public that we, in the federal government, have deployed additional resources, personnel, technology, to assist the New Jersey State Police in addressing the drone sightings.”

Yet, this so-called reassurance falls flat. It skirts around the core issues and questions that need answering. Why the reticence? What are they not telling us? The American people deserve answers, not platitudes. They deserve a government that deals in transparency, not one that traffics in secrecy. This isn’t just about drones over the Northeast; it’s about the trust between the government and its citizens. Under the Biden administration, that trust seems to be flying as blindly as the drones they refuse to explain.

The drone debacle is a perfect metaphor for the disillusionment felt by many Americans under Biden’s lackluster administration. People feel powerless, neglected, and deceived—a trifecta of disappointment that has sadly proven true. Now, with a potential threat looming over our heads and the Biden administration shrouded in secrecy, the frustration is boiling over. Americans are demanding transparency and answers, and they want them yesterday. The government’s cloak-and-dagger approach only fuels the flames of distrust at a time when clarity and leadership are desperately needed.
