‘Law and Order’ Kamala Harris Backed by Anti-Police Donors

As Kamala Harris's campaign tries to paint her as a staunch supporter of law and order, her track record and donors tell a very different story.

In the latest twist of political irony, Vice President Kamala Harris is being packaged as a staunch law and order candidate for the upcoming election, a rebranding effort that seems almost comical given her supporters’ track records. It’s a peculiar strategy from Harris’ campaign, given her backers are the same deep-pocketed donors who have historically championed efforts to defang law enforcement and push for defunding the police.

Despite her team’s attempts to shine a spotlight on her infamous tenure as district attorney and attorney general in California, the contradiction lies thick in the air. How can Harris convincingly stand as a pillar of law and order when the financial pillars of her campaign are known for the opposite? This includes none other than George Soros and his ilk, who have notoriously supported so-called reform prosecutors across the nation, prosecutors who have dangerously lenient approaches to crime, prioritizing progressive reform over public safety.

Adding to the irony are other prominent donors like Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings and nonprofit head Quinn Delaney, who have not only supported Harris but have also opposed measures that would strengthen law enforcement. Their opposition to propositions increasing penalties for crimes and supporting the abolition of cash bail speaks volumes about the ideological dissonance within Harris’ camp.

Let Kamala Harris’s Track Record Speak for Itself

As Harris tries to tread this implausible line of being a law and order candidate, the authenticity of her position is more than just questionable. Her track record and the financial and ideological support she receives tell a very different story—one of a candidate backed by individuals and groups that seek to transform the American justice system in ways that undermine public safety and community integrity.

Thus, the narrative Harris’ campaign is pushing seems less about genuine conviction and more about political convenience, attempting to cloak radical agendas in moderate garb as the election approaches. The stark contrast between her proclaimed stance and the actions of her backers suggests a campaign deeply entangled in contradictions. Voter should not fall for these lies, but rather seek the truth that stands plainly before them.
