Democrats Build Wall to Keep Out DNC Protestors

The Democrats have finally built a wall...around the DNC in Chicago to keep out protestors. This move has many calling out their hypocrisy.

The Democrats have found themselves the target of widespread ridicule as they ramped up preparations for their national convention in Chicago, Illinois. With significant protests from anti-Israel/pro-Hamas groups, businesses around the venue have started boarding up, and a substantial wall of fencing is being installed for protection.

The irony of Democrats, who vocally criticized former President Donald Trump’s border wall as futile and wasteful, now erecting a similar barrier for their convention has not been lost on observers. Critics and social media commentators like Charlie Kirk were quick to point out the hypocrisy.

This act alone by the Democrats is a glaring testament to the effectiveness of physical barriers in providing security. It’s ironic, to say the least, that the same party vehemently opposes securing our national borders in the same manner. Clearly, walls work when it comes to their own protection, but when it comes to the safety of the entire nation, their narrative suddenly shifts to “openness” and “freedom.”

This situation should serve as a wake-up call to anyone paying attention. The Democrats‘ actions at the convention showcase a stark double standard. They know that walls and strict security protocols are essential for safeguarding a perimeter; yet, they stubbornly refuse to apply this understanding to our country’s borders. It’s astonishing, really.

Kamala Harris is more than content to surround herself with walls and the best security money can buy, yet she turns a blind eye to securing our own national borders. The very barriers that ensure her safety are the same ones she denies our country. It’s not just appalling; it’s a serious dereliction of her duties as Vice President. How can she justify such blatant disregard for the safety of every American citizen?

It’s time they redirected some of that zeal for security toward fortifying our nation’s boundaries. Investing in such measures would help protect our communities and uphold the integrity of our nation, far more than any political convention could. The Democrats, it seems, are learning that sometimes, walls are necessary—just as many conservatives have argued all along.
