Biden Issues Last-Minute Pardon for Fauci Just Before Trump’s Inauguration

Remember Biden’s mantra, “No one is above the law”? It seems he meant everyone but his inner circle.

As Donald Trump took the oath of office this Monday, marking the dawn of what promises to be a resurgent era for American exceptionalism, the last gasps of the Biden administration served as a stark reminder of the duplicitous, self-serving politics that have plagued our nation’s capital. In a move reeking of desperation and deceit, Biden executed a spree of pre-emptive pardons, shielding a cohort of his cronies, including Dr. Anthony Fauci—essentially admitting their guilt before charges could even be brought.

It’s the height of hypocrisy. Remember Biden’s mantra, “No one is above the law”? It seems he meant everyone but his inner circle. Among those shielded by Biden’s preemptive pardons were key operatives involved in the overzealous and arguably unjust prosecution of the January 6 defendants—actions many consider more akin to political persecution than to justice.

Furthermore, Biden didn’t stop at saving his political allies. He also commuted the sentences of nearly 2,500 individuals convicted of nonviolent drug offenses and cleared the majority of federal death row. While the reform of the justice system, particularly concerning nonviolent drug offenses, is a conversation worth having, the timing and scope of these commutations appear more like an attempt to pad his legacy in the waning hours of his term than an act of genuine mercy.

What’s particularly galling is the cover this provides for the higher-ups in his administration. These aren’t just pardons; they’re get-out-of-jail-free cards issued en masse to the architects of policies that have harmed America’s standing at home and abroad.

As we step into the Trump era, known for its commitment to law and order, we must scrutinize these last-minute actions by Biden. They underscore the necessity for a vigilant return to principles that uphold justice and accountability, regardless of political affiliation.

This isn’t just a transition of power; it’s a much-needed pivot back to the true spirit of American governance, where the law reigns supreme, and political chicanery is given no quarter. As Trump reclaims the White House, let’s embrace this opportunity to restore integrity and ensure that those who have manipulated their power at the expense of the American people are held accountable, not hidden behind a veil of preemptive immunity.
