Biden-Harris Admin Plans to Fund Climate Activism in Iraqi Schools

Biden and Harris find anything to spend taxpayer dollars on that don't improve American lives, like turning Iraqi students into woke climate activists.

It’s hard to believe that amidst all our domestic challenges, the Biden administration has found yet another way to misuse our taxpayer dollars. This time, they are poised to splash up to a quarter million dollars to teach Iraqi teenagers about climate activism. That’s right, folks. While American veterans sleep on the streets and countless families struggle to make ends meet, our government thinks the best use of our money is to fund “Eco Action Clubs” for high schoolers in Baghdad.

According to the State Department’s grand plan, these clubs will not just frolic about planting trees but will be crafting an “eco-agenda and action plan,” while pushing social media campaigns to spread Wokeism’s gospel of climate crisis. This is all under the guise of environmental diplomacy, a concept they claim “has always been a core part of our diplomacy.” What’s truly bewildering is with a national debt climbing over $35 trillion, the Biden-Harris administration thinks its a smart use of money to fund climate activism in Iraq.

It’s Time to Invest in Americans, Not Overseas Political Agendas

Under the current administration, it seems there’s an endless stream of funds available for initiatives like these abroad, yet back home, the investment in our own infrastructure, education, and citizen welfare is noticeably lacking. Just earlier this year, the State Department was also found throwing millions at Iraqi colleges to indoctrinate students in climate change and gender studies—subjects they’ve heavily politicized to align with the Democratic agenda.

What’s even more frustrating is this new Iraqi climate program that aims to churn out 61 to 100 “young environmental champions” trained to “advocate for environmental reform” in their homeland. Let’s be clear: the term “advocate” in this context means activists trained and funded by U.S. taxpayers to serve a political agenda.

It’s a ludicrous misplacement of priorities when our own country is in dire need of reform and investment in various sectors. It’s high time our government reconsidered its spending habits and focused on strengthening the foundations of our own nation rather than investing in building a cadre of climate activists halfway across the world. As American citizens, we need to demand that our hard-earned money is spent wisely and for the benefit of our country, not squandered on projects that serve foreign agendas and do little to benefit the taxpayers themselves. It’s not just about being conservative with funds; it’s about being sensible and patriotic.
