Judge Stops Texas SB4 Law, Leaving Illegal Immigration Unchecked

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to stop Texas from arresting and prosecuting illegal immigrants through SB4.

States like Texas are currently on the front lines, fighting against the ludicrous and downright un-American immigration policies peddled by the Biden administration. Texas, in particular, is grappling with an immigration crisis of epic proportions, and in response, it has taken matters into its own hands with the Texas SB4 law. This pivotal piece of legislation empowers local and state law enforcement agencies to apprehend, detain, and bring to justice those suspected of illegally crossing into the U.S. from Mexico. More than that, it lays down the law for repeat offenders, prescribing severe penalties, including felony charges and deportation. SB4 is Texas’s line in the sand, a declaration that enough is enough when it comes to the unchecked flow of illegal immigration that undermines our communities, our economy, and our security.

Unsurprisingly, the left has thrown everything but the kitchen sink to derail the enforcement of SB4, showcasing their relentless pursuit to undermine any effort that seeks to restore law and order. The legal battle that SB4 has endured is a testament to this, with the Supreme Court stepping in not once, not twice, but three times to block, reinstate, and then again pause the law’s enforcement. This judicial tug-of-war over the law’s constitutionality showcases the contentious nature of the fight for America’s sovereignty.

In the latest chapter of this legal tug-of-war, a trio of judges from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit put the brakes on SB4, sidelining it with a 2-1 vote. Another Supreme Court intervention looms ahead, mirroring the legal showdown that Arizona faced with its SB 1070. This ongoing fight isn’t just about SB4; it’s a broader battle for the soul of our nation’s immigration policy.

SB4—and the controversy surrounding it—highlights a stark dichotomy in our national discourse. On one side, we have those who understand the importance of maintaining sovereignty, securing our borders, and protecting our citizens. On the other, we have advocates of a borderless utopia, pushing for policies that prioritize non-citizens over the well-being of Americans.

The battle over SB4 is a fight for the soul of America, a test of our will to defend the rule of law and ensure that our nation remains a place where lawfulness is respected and cherished. Texas, displaying commendable resolve, has taken a bold step to address the chaos unleashed by a federal government seemingly indifferent to the plight of its own citizens.
