Biden Snubs Slain NYPD Officer, Fundraises Instead

While Trump paid respects, Joe Biden was busy raising millions for himself in NYC, ignoring the real effects of his soft on crime policies.

While President Trump honored the memory of fallen NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller, President Joe Biden was elsewhere in New York City, rubbing elbows with former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton at a fundraiser that raked in a staggering $26 million. Biden’s attendance at the fundraising event rather than Diller’s wake leaves no doubt about where his priorities lie.

In what should have been a routine traffic stop, Officer Diller’s life was tragically cut short by a seasoned criminal, one with a staggering 21 prior arrests. Astonishingly, it’s reported that during the shooting, this perpetrator had even gone as far as to conceal a shiv in his body, a testament to his readiness for another stint behind bars. This tragic incident underscores the chilling reality that dangerous felons freely wander the streets of cities like New York. This is a direct consequence of the radical left’s misguided criminal reform policies, including the notorious “catch and release” approach

Under the watch of Biden’s administration, we find ourselves in a grim reality where an NYPD officer can be senselessly killed in the line of duty, and yet, there’s no acknowledgment, no visit to pay respects, nor any formal statement directly from the President. It’s nothing short of cowardly. Instead, President Biden gave condolences to Mayor Adams. It’s a twisted irony because Adams is part of the very problem he pretends to combat, with his policies directly contributing to the flood of dangerous criminals roaming the streets of NYC.

In a stark contrast that speaks volumes, Trump has chosen to stand with the family and colleagues of Officer Diller, showing his respect and support by attending the wake on Long Island. Officer Diller, who lost his life in a senseless act of violence, is being remembered for his bravery and sacrifice, while the current administration seems to have other interests at heart.

The disparity in actions between Trump and Biden couldn’t be more glaring. On one hand, we have a former president showing genuine compassion and respect for those who serve and protect our communities. On the other, we have the sitting president and his predecessors focused on amassing campaign funds, seemingly indifferent to the loss experienced by the NYPD and the Diller family. Clearly, Biden’s world is governed by a blatant blend of greed and denial.
