Chinese Nationals Exploit Biden’s Open Border, Posing National Security Risks

Over 20,000 Chinese nationals crossed the US southern border in FY 2024, exploiting weak policies and posing grave national security risks.

The recent surge of Chinese nationals illegally crossing the southern U.S. border underscores a grave national security threat under the Biden administration. This influx, far from being a mere migration trend, signals a deliberate exploitation of America’s weakened border policies by individuals who may have ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The stark rise from 450 arrests of Chinese nationals in Biden’s first year to over 20,000 in the 2024 fiscal year alone is alarming and cannot be brushed aside as mere coincidence.

The involvement of CCP-linked entities and the use of Chinese-owned TikTok to facilitate these crossings highlight a sophisticated strategy to infiltrate the U.S. This is not just about seeking better opportunities; it’s about bypassing American intelligence to plant operatives capable of undermining national interests from within. The notion that amidst the millions breaching the border, there wouldn’t be a single CCP spy, is naively optimistic. The CCP’s long history of espionage against American institutions—from government agencies to academia and the tech industry—suggests a calculated move to exploit Biden’s lax border policies for strategic gains.

January’s encounter with 176,205 illegal crossers, despite being a drop from previous months, still represents a very significant threat, especially when the vetting process, as admitted by Border Patrol chiefs, struggles to keep up. The admission that some Chinese nationals could be affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army or the CCP is a chilling reminder of the potential dangers lurking within the masses being shuttled into the U.S. interior with minimal scrutiny.

Furthermore, China’s role in the fentanyl crisis adds another layer to the multifaceted threat posed by open borders. The staggering 800 percent increase in fentanyl seizures since 2019 points to a concerted effort by the CCP to destabilize American society through drug dependency and death. The involvement of cartels, backed by Chinese investors, in smuggling operations reveals a sinister alliance that capitalizes on Biden’s border policies to inflict maximum harm on American communities.

The Biden administration’s refusal to acknowledge and address the gravity of this invasion is not just a failure of policy but a dereliction of duty to protect American citizens and uphold national security. As the 2024 elections draw near, it is imperative that the policy agenda of our nation’s leaders reflect a commitment to securing our borders, prioritizing American lives over politics, and standing firm against foreign adversaries like China that seek to exploit our vulnerabilities for their gain. The time for complacency is over; the stakes for America’s future and security are too high.
